1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using ChronoSong ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

ChronoSong is a music timeline guessing game where players listen to song previews, guess release years, and build chronological timelines. The Service is available as a web application and mobile application.

3. USE OF THE SERVICE

You agree to use ChronoSong only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its servers.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service.
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell any part of the Service.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The ChronoSong application, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by ChronoSong and protected by intellectual property laws. Music content (song previews, album art, metadata) is provided through the Deezer API and remains the property of their respective owners.

5. MUSIC CONTENT

ChronoSong provides access to 30-second song previews through the Deezer API for entertainment purposes. We do not host, store, or distribute full songs. All music content is streamed directly from Deezer's servers and is subject to Deezer's Terms of Use.

6. USER CONTENT

Player names and game settings you enter are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for any content you input into the Service. Do not enter offensive, inappropriate, or personally identifiable information as player names.

7. ADVERTISEMENTS

The mobile version of ChronoSong may display advertisements through Google AdMob. Ad content is provided by third-party advertisers and we are not responsible for the content of these advertisements.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChronoSong shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
